"Corneal fungus" is a non-inflammatory phenomenon that usually affects the cornea of both eyes. In this disease, the cornea is thinned and becomes conical. Thinning and changing the cornea from spherical to conical, leads to irregular myopia or astigmatism, resulting in reduced vision.Keratoconus, or corneal hump, is a progressive disease that usually appears during puberty and progresses to the third and fourth decades and later stops. It starts in one eye, but usually after a while, the other eye gets caught .
